Parkmore vs Wesley (15th Oct)

MATCH REPORT: Parkmore RFC 14 – Old Wesley RFC 34 (15th October 2016) Parkmore took to the field for their third league game against Old Wesley on Saturday last at a fresh, sunny Lakelands. The game started poorly when the men in blue and white conceded a early try to some nice open field running from Wesley. Parkmore then reasserted themselves in the game and came to dominate possession but were unable to do much with it and seemed to spurn several good chances with poor execution. Parkmore vs Clondalkin

Lakelands, Terenure – Saturday 10th October 2015.  Division 8, Metro League.  Final score: Parkmore 39 – 5 Clondalkin.  Parkmore’s third league game of the season was a home fixture against Clondalkin. UCD started to assert themselves and showed a willingness to run the ball from anywhere on the pitch. This approach paid dividends when Parkmore condeded a kickable penalty to allow the home team to level the game. It ...

Final score: Malahide 25 – 25 Parkmore  Parkmore commenced their season with a tough away fixture to Malahide in the John Madden Cup. Parkmore welcomed back old stalwart Shane Lonergan to the fold along with two debutants, John McDonnell and Alan Dodd. All three showed that they will be valauble additions to the squad over the season. It was clear from the off that this was going to be a hard fought game. Parkmore came out of the blocks flying with no lack of intensity or effort. As the half wore on Malahide began to impose themselves on the game and secured the lion’s share of possession. This superiorty began ...
